Testimonials
Some eighteen years ago I took a very excited three year old to watch a ballet lesson at Chepstow Leisure Centre and that was the start of a long and happy association with Angela at the Angel School of Dance. Three years later Rebecca had started tap too and was joined by Sarah learning ‘fairy steps’ in primary ballet. Angela has inspired and encouraged the girls through twenty-seven dance exams and six shows, expecting them to work hard and to the best of their ability. The shows were always a highlight, Angela’s professionalism showed through with excellent choreography, music and lighting, making each one a very special experience. At the Angel School of Dance, Rebecca and Sarah had fun, made friends and learned skills such as dedication, perseverance, team work, and musicality and above all a love of dance. Thank you, Angela.

I have been involved with The Angel School of Dance through my daughter’s participation for fifteen years and I have always been thoroughly impressed with the school. The Principal, Angela Fryer is an excellent teacher; she gives the students the skills and discipline to pass exams and perform in some fantastic shows, yet makes the lessons thoroughly enjoyable! Angela values all abilities and she encourages all students to produce their very best.
Both my daughters have achieved brilliantly under Miss Angela’s care; indeed my eldest daughter is now studying dance and musical theatre at college as a result of the excellent training that The Angel School of Dance has provided.

Over the years a number of dancers have gone on to build a career in the world of performance. Amy Griffiths who started dancing with Angela from the age of 4 years is an example of what can be achieved with hard work and dedication.
“The Angel School of Dance provided me with the strong dance technique and stage presence required for the professional musical theatre industry.

The skills obtained under the tuition of Angela Fryer gave me the confidence to audition, and consequently obtain a place on the 3 year BA Hons Musical Theatre course at The Guildford School of Acting, to which I obtained a 1st class degree.
I have since put my training into practise in several productions including understudying Stephanie Beachum as the wicked witch in ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ (Yvonne Arnaud Theatre), Usherette/Lick Me, Bite Me in the UK Tour of ‘The Producers’ (starring Peter Kay), Princess Ariella in ‘Betwixt!’ (a new off West-End musical) and will be appearing as Fairy Godmother in ‘Cinderella’ at Christmas this year in Redditch during Christmas 2008.”
