Angel School of Dance
Helping dancers reach their full potential since 1979.
The Angel School of Dance was founded by Angela Fryer in 1979, and now offers a wide range of dance classes.
We believe everyone can dance, so we teach and encourage every pupil to achieve their full potential, whether they aspire to a career in dance and performance or they dance for the simple joy of movement.
By providing a relaxed and supportive environment, each pupil can learn and progress at a speed that suits them. As pupils move through the grades, they gain in poise and confidence; something which is followed through in all the other activities they participate in.
We also believe that good behaviour is as important as the discipline required to become a great dancer, so we ask all pupils to be punctual, attentive, and enthusiastic during lessons.
If you’d like to join our “dance family” (that’s what many of our pupils call it!), you can apply for a class here!
Showcases & Workshops
All pupils have the opportunity to perform in front of friends and family and experience new types of dance.
Meet the team
We’re a small, dedicated team with a passion for all types of dance. Both of us have our own style and strengths, with many years of dancing and teaching experience behind us. We are committed to helping each and every one of our pupils to reach their full potential, and enjoy every step of their journey along the way!
Angela founded Angel School of Dance at the age of 15. She has dedicated her life to dance and works hard to ensure that every single pupil realises their full potential.

We often get excellent feedback from former pupils and parents, and many of our dancers now have successful careers in dance. But don’t just take our word for it, here’s the evidence!
“The Angel School of Dance provided me with the strong dance technique and stage presence required for the professional musical theatre industry.
The skills obtained under the tuition of Angela Fryer gave me the confidence to audition, and consequently obtain a place on the 3 year BA Hons Musical Theatre course at The Guildford School of Acting, to which I obtained a 1st class degree.
I have since put my training into practise in several productions including understudying Stephanie Beachum as the wicked witch in ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ (Yvonne Arnaud Theatre), Usherette/Lick Me, Bite Me in the UK Tour of ‘The Producers’ (starring Peter Kay), Princess Ariella in ‘Betwixt!’ (a new off West-End musical) and will be appearing as Fairy Godmother in ‘Cinderella’ at Christmas this year in Redditch during Christmas 2008.”
